My niece in California submitted a team for the Nike Marathon in SanFrancisco. Names are randomly drawn to be chosen to run. The team was submitted in March. On April 23... we were chosen as one of the teams to participate. Now you have to know that I have never run... or whatever .
This will be something that I will have to work on as part of the team. I believe that it will bond the family closer and also bond a friend, Leah, who is with the team. We will be 3000 miles apart, but close in spirit!
I am going to use this blog to talk about my experiences as a "non runner" and how we all, in the team, overcame difficulties, as we prepare for the biggest challenge of our lives. As my son said, "First of all, get off the couch!"
